Welcome Drivers. You'll find useful information here on our Resource Page. 

If you wish to drive as a Carpool Driver, Courtesy Driver, Passenger or Package Delivery Driver, you must go through the onboarding process before you can drive on the RideQwest platform.  Onboarding takes a few days but it is necessary to help provide a safe and reliable platform for Members.

1.   PAID DRIVER ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS  

To be eligible to operate as a Paid Driver or Delivery Driver, you must meet these requirements:

• Be at least 21 years old
• Have at least one year of driving experience in the U.S.
• Have at least one year of driving experience for an established gig company such as Uber or Lyft
• Have at least 3 years of driving experience if under 25
• Use a vehicle with at least 4 passenger seats (not including the driver)
• Use an eligible 4-door vehicle
• Hold a valid driving license for the area in which You are driving
• Drive safely and in accordance with all applicable driving rules and laws
• Ensure your vehicle is roadworthy, and has all certifications required by law
• Provide documentation of insurance coverage, vehicle registration and inspection per your jurisdiction
• Submit a photo of yourself

2.  CARPOOL DRIVER ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To drive as an Carpool Driver or Courtesy Driver you must meet these requirements: 

• Be at least 21 years old
• Have at least one year of driving experience in the U.S.
• Have at least 3 years of driving experience if under 25
• Use a vehicle with at least 4 passenger seats (not including the driver)
• Use an eligible 4-door vehicle
• Hold a valid driving license for the area in which you are driving
• Drive safely and in accordance with all applicable driving rules and laws
• Ensure your vehicle is roadworthy, and has all certifications required by law
• Provide documentation of insurance coverage, vehicle registration and inspection per your jurisdiction
• Provide rides in a personal capacity, and not for commercial or business purposes
• Do NOT use the Rideqwest platform to generate a profit; and
• Do NOT use the Rideqwest Platform to provide rides on a motorcycle
• Submit a photo of yourself

3.  BACKGROUND CHECK FOR DRIVERS

Before you can drive on the Rideqwest platform, you must undergo a background check.  Rideqwest obtains background checks from DISA Global Solutions, located in Houston, Texas, https://disa.com/.   Please note, the reports we receive may contain information regarding your criminal history and motor vehicle driving records.  Information from these reports may also provide information about your physical, mental or behavioral health maintained by a state government agency that has restricted your ability to drive. When your background check has concluded, you may obtain a free copy for your records.


4.  SUBSCRIPTION FEES

The Platform is currently free to use for Drivers. At some time in the future we will implement Subscription Fees to help cover our  business costs. Subscription Fees will be paid through the Service Provider Mobile Application and will be charged to Drivers. We'll offer weekly and monthly billing cycles at reasonable rates, and Drivers will be charged based on the billing cycle they choose.
